Course Description
Learn the latest advances in endodontic procedures- and take your dental practice to new heights!
The Fellowship in Endodontics – Level II course has been designed by leading endodontists for dental practitioners like you who want to learn more about endodontic procedures such as root canal treatment.
Why take the Fellowship in Endodontics – Level II?
Tooth pain is the most common presenting complaint in dentistry. Deep carious lesions are the most common cause of tooth pain. Thus, endodontic treatment is the most commonly performed procedure in the dental clinic. A root canal treatment can make or break the trust a patient puts in you as a dentist. Thus, a comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge of endodontics is an obligatory requirement for all dental practitioners.
Due to the varied root canal morphologies observed in both maxillary and mandibular teeth, the chances for clinical procedural errors are high. Endodontic procedures are technique-sensitive procedures, and a lack of clinical expertise can lead to multiple complications. But here’s the thing: Most root canal treatments can be performed with minimal complications if the diagnosis and treatment planning is optimal.
Learning complex medical concepts in the traditional didactic textbook and lecture format can be alienating for students. It prevents the opportunity to apply this knowledge clinically.
This course incorporates a Case-Based Learning Approach within the Medvarsity Learning Framework to address this gap in medical education. With this unique methodology, students consume relevant medical content while learning concepts through interactive case studies spread throughout the course. Thus, students are provided with relevant specialty-specific cases and a clear structure for precise diagnosis and customized treatment plans on a case-to-case basis.
The Fellowship in Endodontics – Level II course includes 3 months Contact Program in leading dental clinic chains in major Indian cities. This allows you to apply your knowledge in real-world clinical settings.
We have developed a case-based approach to teaching.
What does this mean?
It means that we allow you to learn through the clinical application of knowledge rather than rote, allowing you to understand and recall concepts better in a clinical setting. Thus, this course provides a framework for optimal diagnosis, treatment planning, and treatment execution of all endodontic lesions.
